• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Setting: Progressive Care Unit / Stepdown / Intermediate Care
• Location: Warren, Ohio
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Hours per Week: 36
• Schedule: Nights with a patient ratio typically ranging from 1:4-5 on days and 1:5 on nights, subject to staffing needs
• Start Date: September 14, 2026

RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of assignment or compact eligibility
• At least 1 year of RN experience required
• 2 years of Stepdown / SDU / IMCU experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Ventilator experience on an intermediate care level required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certification required
• Dysrhythmia exam required
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment

Progressive Care Unit Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a PCU / Stepdown environment
• Perform ongoing assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Administer medications safely and monitor patients receiving cardiac and respiratory therapies
• Care for patients on drips such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Lasix, and Bumex
• Manage patients requiring BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and ventilatory support
• Care for mixed-acuity patients with cardiac, neuro, renal, gastrointestinal, and respiratory conditions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, charge nurse, and support staff to promote safe, high-quality patient care
• Monitor hemodynamic status, respond to changes in condition, and provide timely interventions
• Support patient and family education, advocacy, and discharge planning as needed
