• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Hours per Week: 40
• Schedule: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, with alternate weekends, holiday rotation, and on-call assignments as needed
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

• Setting: Level II Trauma Center / Surgical Services

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience preferred/required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience circulating trauma, general, orthopedic, neuro, and vascular procedures
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced perioperative and surgical environment with changing case volumes
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to float as needed based on skill set and patient volume

Responsibilities

• Circulate a variety of surgical cases across multiple specialties in the operating room
• Support procedures including total joint replacement, orthopedic trauma, robotic general surgery, bariatrics, robotic urology, craniotomy, ENT, and plastics
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient OR flow
• Follow AORN standards, facility policies, and established perioperative best practices
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and charting system
• Participate in on-call coverage, alternate weekend scheduling, and holiday rotation as assigned
• Provide high-quality patient care while contributing to a supportive, traveler-friendly healthcare team
