Schedule
- 8-hour day shift
- 5–8-hour shifts
- 7 call shifts per 6-week period
- 3 weekend shifts and 4 weekday shifts per 6-week period
Contract Length
- 12 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- ACLS
- PALS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- CNOR certification
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and/or circulate for operative procedures
- Admit patients to the operative suite
- Follow aseptic techniques and intraoperative care standards
- Coordinate with team members on intraoperative patient care plans
- Serve as a liaison to patients, families, and the operating team
- Prepare the operating room for the patient and procedure
- Assemble equipment and supplies and confirm equipment functionality and availability of supplies/implants
