• Region: Western North Carolina, near Asheville and the Great Smoky Mountains
• Work Environment: On-site with weekend float support as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg or similar acute care nursing experience
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Flexibility to support weekend coverage when needed
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and bedside clinical documentation preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality bedside nursing care
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and hospital protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support optimal patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the electronic health record
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges as part of the care continuum
• Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach in a busy medical-surgical setting
