Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experienced nurses with adult Med/Surg background preferred
• Flu vaccination required
• Education verification required
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Administer medications and treatments according to policies, procedures, and state practice standards
• Document patient care accurately and consistently according to standards of care
• Develop individualized plans of care and provide patient and family education
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery
• Participate in quality improvement and shared governance initiatives when applicable
• Use critical thinking to promote patient safety, patient experience, and timely escalation when needed
