Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shifts per Week: 4 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 10-hour evening shifts
• Shift Hours: 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Schedule: Weekday only; no weekends, no holidays, no blocked scheduling
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,400 - $2,520
• Care Setting: Acute care operating room / surgical center
• Floating: OR holding area
• Call: Limited call expectations may apply, with a 30-minute response time

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent OR nursing, perioperative nursing, or surgical nursing experience preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong IV skills required
• Experience with surgical care and robotics preferred
• Ability to support pre-op care and a fast-paced surgical environment
• Flexibility to work the scheduled evening shift and participate in occasional call coverage as assigned

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the operating room and perioperative setting
• Support pre-op patient care and preparation for surgical procedures
• Assist with a wide variety of procedures, including same-day surgery and overnight stays
• Maintain strong IV access and surgical care practices
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to ensure efficient case flow
• Adapt to evolving clinical workflows and charting systems as needed
• Deliver attentive, patient-focused care in a high-volume surgical environment
