- Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,120 - $3,290
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 10-hour day shifts
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Call: Weekend call on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; occasional late-night coverage up to 8:00 PM as needed
- Additional Notes: Travel candidates only; no local candidates within 50 miles; requested time off should be identified at submission
Job Requirements
- Current Illinois RN license in hand
- At least 1 year of specialty nursing experience required
- Electrophysiology experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Previous Cath Lab experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work a day-shift schedule and participate in call coverage
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork in a high-acuity cardiac care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in the Cath Lab and Electrophysiology setting
- Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery throughout cardiac procedures
- Support the team during catheterization lab and electrophysiology cases with attention to safety and efficiency
- Respond to scheduled call responsibilities, including weekend coverage
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-moving procedural environment
