Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
- Experience with acute care nursing skills such as IV starts, feeding tubes, ostomy care, and wound care
- Rehabilitation nursing experience preferred, but not required
- Comfort working with post-surgical, stroke, cardiac, and hemodialysis patients
- Strong accountability, teamwork, and patient-centered care mindset
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced clinical setting
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care in an inpatient rehabilitation environment
- Monitor patient progress and support individualized recovery plans
- Perform and assist with wound care, IV starts, feeding tube management, and ostomy care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive patient outcomes
- Document care accurately in the EHR and maintain timely clinical communication
- Support patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic conditions
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented unit culture focused on quality and compassion
