Details

• Inpatient acute care setting focused on skin and wound care management
• 5x8-hour day shifts each week with every other weekend required
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required, no pending licenses accepted
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, BSN preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA only)
• Five years of acute patient care experience required
• Two years of wound care experience required
• Strong leadership, patient and staff education, and written and verbal communication skills required
• Basic computer and data entry skills required

Additional Information

• Responsible for coordination of clinical services to ensure consistent, quality care for patients with wounds in the inpatient setting
• Collaborates with physicians and inpatient/outpatient healthcare professionals and staff
• Works within the framework of the state Nurse Practice Act and follows all hospital policies and procedures
• Must reside 100 miles or more from the facility
