Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in PACU, post-operative care, or an acute care hospital setting
Strong assessment, monitoring, and patient recovery skills
Ability to work a full 12-hour day schedule with dependable attendance
Comfort working in a fast-paced post-anesthesia and post-operative environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities

Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia
Monitor vital signs, airway status, pain level, and overall patient stability
Identify changes in condition and communicate promptly with the care team
Support post-operative recovery workflows and patient readiness for transfer or discharge
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
Promote a calm, reassuring experience for patients and families during recovery
