• Schedule: Variable call schedule; expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation
• Work Setting: On-site acute care hospital
• Clinical System: MEDITECH experience required

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience required
• Strong perioperative nursing experience supporting surgical procedures
• MEDITECH experience required
• Ability to adapt to a variable call schedule
• Availability to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient perioperative nursing care to surgical patients
• Prepare the operating room and support surgeons throughout procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and uphold OR safety standards
• Assess patients before, during, and after surgical interventions
• Collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesia, and other clinical staff
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Document care accurately in the clinical record
• Support smooth transitions of care between surgical phases
