You’ll support Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, Antepartum, Postpartum, and GYN patients while working alongside a collaborative care team in western North Carolina.

Job Details

• Position: OBGYN Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel RN
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (source data also lists an 8-hour day shift)
• Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend
• Call: None
• Float Requirements: Yes
• Location: Rutherfordton, NC

Job Requirements

• Active RN license eligible for practice in North Carolina
• 3 years of experience required, including charge nurse experience
• Clinical experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, and GYN
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
• Ability to care for maternal, newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients as needed
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced women’s services and acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, Postpartum, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, and GYN
• Perform patient assessments, monitor acuity, and support individualized care planning
• Use fetal monitoring equipment and maintain strong clinical awareness throughout the shift
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical support staff to promote safe, compassionate outcomes for mothers and babies
• Adapt to float needs within the unit as assigned
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system
