Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Specialist in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. The position requires dedication to patient safety, clinical excellence, and collaboration within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Rapid response and special scheduling will not be accommodated. The shift is nights, with a 48-hour guarantee.
- Shift Details: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in relevant clinical skills, valid licensure as an LPN or RN, Graduation from an accredited program, licensed to practice in North Carolina, and 0 years minimum experience.
- Additional Information: Orientation includes a 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor. Scrub color code: RNs navy and white, CNAs galaxy blue, Sitters purple, RTs medium gray/Pewter, LPNs sage green. Kronos clock-in instructions apply. Tobacco use is prohibited on all campus properties. Mileage reimbursement varies based on proximity to the facility.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates are expected to meet all qualifications and be available to start on 09/21/2026 and work through 11/02/2026, with a schedule accommodating night shifts.
