Job Details
- Location: Plano, TX 75075
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- On-Call: No on-call
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
- Start Date: September 14, 2026
- Setting: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Floating: Nursery as needed
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of NICU nursing experience required
- Level II-III NICU experience strongly preferred
- Level III-IV NICU experience is a plus
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced neonatal care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to newborns in a NICU setting
- Monitor and support infants requiring advanced respiratory care and specialized neonatal interventions
- Assist with care involving central lines, CPAP, NIPPV, conventional vents, and HFOV
- Care for micro-preemie patients and a range of neonatal acuity levels
- Support surgical neonates, excluding head and heart cases
- Collaborate closely with the care team to promote safe, effective, and compassionate patient outcomes
- Document accurately in CPN and Meditech
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented unit culture
