• Duration: 17 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Weekends and holidays as needed; voluntary on-call available
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910-$2,010

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of current Labor and Delivery experience
• Ability to circulate C-sections
• Advanced NRP certification
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Experience with labor, antepartum, recovery, and couplet care preferred
• Willingness to float to Mother/Baby or assist as a sitter task RN when needed
• Ability to work in a Level III Trauma environment and maintain a 1:2 patient ratio

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients
• Monitor patients and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and couplet care
• Assist with and circulate C-sections as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow in a busy Labor and Delivery Unit
• Respond to clinical changes quickly and appropriately in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Support floating assignments to Mother/Baby or sitter task coverage when required
• Help maintain high standards of patient safety, communication, and teamwork
