• Position: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts; may include call
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 - $1,840
• Work Environment: On-site with potential floating between campuses as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Strong experience in Orthopedics, Neuro, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, Urology, Vascular, and Gynecology
• ACLS and BLS required
• Cerner experience required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Must be willing to float between campuses as needed
• AHCA fingerprinting required prior to start for Florida travelers

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care in the operating room
• Use critical thinking, scientific judgment, and clinical leadership in surgical care planning
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR technicians, and other perioperative team members
• Prepare for procedures by ensuring supplies are available and cases remain timely
• Communicate effectively with families and members of the care team
• Update physician preference cards and support efficient surgical workflow
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases as assigned
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
