ER Nurse Job Requirements

• Active RN license and certification for Emergency Room nursing
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and rapid assessment skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care environment
• Current license and credential verification as required for onboarding
• Availability to work 12-hour night shifts

Emergency Department Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care in the Emergency Department
• Perform rapid patient assessments and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support timely care
• Monitor patients throughout their ED stay and provide thorough documentation
• Support a calm, professional, and patient-centered environment during busy shifts
