• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 - $1,990

• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Orientation: 18 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Every 3rd weekend, with 5 weekend shifts per contract
• Float: May be required

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience in cardiac stepdown, progressive care, telemetry, or PCU nursing preferred
• Strong skills in dysrhythmia management, cardiac monitoring, and rapid response support
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, central lines, PICC lines, and IV management
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment with patient ratios of 4-6
• Self-scheduling experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to adults and geriatrics with CHF, chest pain, COPD, AFib with RVR, and arrhythmias
• Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and therapies according to unit protocols, including heparin and cardiac drips without titration
• Support patients receiving BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, oxygen therapy, and non-invasive airway management
• Assist with pre- and post-cardiac procedures, including cardiac cath and angiogram care
• Perform line care, sheath removal, feeding tube care, wound care, and isolation precautions as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote safe, efficient, patient-centered care
• Utilize SBAR communication and the Pyxis medication system to support workflow and patient safety
