Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent telemetry nursing or acute care nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- Strong telemetry skill set and comfort with continuous cardiac monitoring
- Experience with Meditech preferred
- Stroke care experience is a plus
- Positive, team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to telemetry patients on a busy inpatient unit
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition quickly
- Perform timely assessments, document accurately, and communicate updates to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians and support staff to promote excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism while adapting to a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Support a positive unit culture and contribute to smooth shift-to-shift handoffs
