Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience or relevant acute care experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• COVID vaccination required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment
• BSN not required

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate patient care as a Med/Surg Registered Nurse
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in EPIC
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
• Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach throughout every shift
