- Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Cardiac Cath Lab RN)
- Type: Travel Contract
- Start Date: 7/23/2026
- End Date: 10/22/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Typical Schedule: 4 shifts per week
- Weekly Hours: 40
- On-Call: Every 5th weekend, Saturday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,450 - $2,580
- Location: Asheville, NC 28801
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- At least 1 year of experience in a cardiac cath lab or closely related acute care setting
- Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures, patient monitoring, and procedural workflow
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
- Ability to adapt to a high-acuity procedural setting
Responsibilities
- Support diagnostic and interventional heart catheterization procedures in the cath lab
- Assist with structural heart procedures as needed
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safe, high-quality care
- Maintain sterile technique and procedural readiness in the cath lab
- Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and the care team to deliver efficient workflow
- Document patient care accurately using electronic medical record systems
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a 1:1 procedural environment
