Travel Cath Lab RN opportunity in Asheville, NC: join a high-performing cardiac care team for a 13-week assignment in a busy Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse who excels in fast-paced procedural nursing, patient monitoring, and interventional cardiology support.

• Shift: 10-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,450 - $2,580
• On-Call Schedule: Every 5th weekend, Saturday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM
• Start Date: 8/31/2026
• Setting: Inpatient cardiac procedural unit

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong understanding of cardiac catheterization workflows, hemodynamic monitoring, and patient assessment
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Experience with EMR systems and procedural documentation preferred
• Prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, cardiac catheterization lab, or similar acute care procedural setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional heart catheterization procedures
• Assist with structural heart procedures and other cardiac interventions as needed
• Monitor patients closely and maintain a safe, individualized patient care ratio
• Collaborate with physicians, cath lab technicians, and the procedural team to support efficient lab operations
• Prepare equipment, maintain a sterile environment, and follow cath lab protocols and safety standards
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record and respond quickly to changing patient conditions
