- Duration: 13 weeks

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980 - $2,080

- Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
- EMR: EPIC
Registered Nurse Requirements
- Current New Mexico RN license or compact state RN license
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- At least 1 year of experience in Med/Surg nursing or a related acute care specialty
- Ability to work night shifts and provide dependable clinical support in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong communication, organization, assessment, and critical-thinking skills
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocol and monitor patient response
- Accurately document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided in EPIC
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on care plans, learning needs, and available resources
- Support patients with complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team while maintaining high standards of clinical practice
- Adapt to floating across Med/Surg departments as needed
