Job Details

• Position: PACU Registered Nurse (RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, typically 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Duration: 16 weeks
• Start Date: 09/14/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,420 - $1,490
• Location: Canton, GA 30115
• Setting: Pre-Op / PACU environment

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU, post-anesthesia care, or specialty nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current AHA ACLS certification
• Current AHA PALS certification
• NIH certification
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced surgical recovery setting
• Availability to work scheduled holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery
• Monitor vital signs, pain levels, airway status, and overall patient condition throughout recovery
• Support pre-operative preparation and coordinate patient flow as needed
• Identify changes in patient status and respond quickly with appropriate clinical action
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, surgical teams, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safe, efficient patient care standards
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a team-oriented perioperative environment
