As a Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience or closely related perioperative experience
• Active Registered Nurse license
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Cerner experience preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and assist with holiday coverage as needed
• Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and bedside communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality post-anesthesia nursing care to surgical patients in the PACU
• Monitor vital signs, airway status, pain levels, and overall recovery progression
• Identify changes in patient condition and respond with prompt clinical intervention
• Administer medications and recovery interventions according to protocol and clinical direction
• Prepare patients for safe transfer, discharge, or the next level of care
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology, and perioperative team members to support quality outcomes
• Maintain accurate charting and uphold patient safety standards
