Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current Emergency Department RN experience
• Active Kansas RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Blue Card competency/certification
• Strong ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-moving emergency care environment
• Experience with Meditech preferred
• Comfort working with pediatric patients is highly valued

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients across a variety of acuity levels
• Perform IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric nursing care as needed
• Monitor patients closely and respond quickly to changing clinical conditions in the ED
• Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, charge nurses, techs, and unit clerks to support efficient patient flow
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit policies, including scanning patients and medications every time
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment that values adaptability, communication, and strong clinical judgment
