Description

RN Emergency Room Position

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Work Schedule: Every other weekend, no on-call required
Unit: Emergency Department with a high volume of behavioral health patients
Uniform: Ceil blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
TNCC
NIHSS
CPI/MOAB De-Escalation
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
The Emergency Department sees a high volume of behavioral health patients, so experience or comfort in this area may be beneficial.
No call responsibilities.
Uniform color specified as ceil blue scrubs.

This position requires a registered nurse with emergency room specialty skills, current licensure, multiple certifications, and compliance with extensive onboarding and health requirements. The assignment is a 13-week long-term contract with a night shift schedule and every other weekend work.
