• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• On-Call: 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month
• Setting: Cardiovascular operating room / surgical services
• EMR: Meditech / CPN

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital CVOR RN experience
• Prior Charge CVOR RN experience required
• Active Kansas RN license
• BLS and ACLS required
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-focused mindset
• Confidence working in a high-acuity cardiovascular surgery environment
• PALS, open heart experience, cardiovascular experience, and Meditech experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead daily charge responsibilities in the CVOR and help coordinate safe, efficient patient flow
• Support the surgical team during cardiovascular procedures, including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR
• Collaborate closely with physicians, staff nurses, and surgical technologists to maintain smooth operations
• Promote high-quality patient care, clear communication, and positive team dynamics
• Assist with on-call coverage as scheduled
• Contribute to a collaborative unit environment where professionalism and adaptability are valued
• Help support the continued growth of a cardiovascular surgery program with exciting momentum
