Job Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience required
• Strong telemetry background with the ability to function autonomously
• ACLS and BLS required
• Experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias required
• Cerner experience preferred; Epic or Cerner familiarity is a plus
• Must be comfortable working night shifts and participating in weekend/holiday rotation
• COVID-19 vaccination required; flu vaccination required with medical exemptions only

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for telemetry observation patients with a variety of medical diagnoses
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient status, and respond appropriately
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care in a 10-bed observation unit
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to promote safe, efficient patient care
• Float within scope to medical-surgical telemetry as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Support a patient-centered environment while delivering care with confidence and professionalism
