• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Shift Time: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,860 - $1,960
• Openings: 2
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Job Requirements

• Active RN license required
• At least 4 years of recent acute care nursing experience
• Telemetry experience with the ability to independently read telemetry strips
• Must successfully pass an on-site telemetry exam on day 1 with a score of 84% or better
• At least 1 recent successful travel nurse contract required
• Stepdown experience preferred for night coverage considerations
• Meditech experience preferred
• EPIC experience strongly preferred
• Psychiatric nursing experience highly preferred
• Must be adaptable and comfortable floating to different units
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in MedSurg and telemetry float pool settings
• Care for patients across multiple units, including medical-surgical, cardiology/telemetry, and surgical areas
• Interpret telemetry strips accurately and communicate changes in patient condition promptly
• Deliver safe, efficient patient care while adapting quickly to varying unit needs and patient acuity
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Complete required onboarding and demonstrate competency through the day 1 assessment
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, flexibility, and reliability throughout the assignment
