• Contract Duration: 15 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990 - $2,090
• On-Call: None
• Weekend Requirement: Every weekend
• Floating: May occasionally float to acute care or overflow/surge units based on divisional needs

Requirements

• Active Kansas RN license
• Current BLS certification required
• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• At least 1 year of recent telemetry RN experience in a hospital setting
• Ability to work a set weekend-night schedule in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Comfortable adapting to float needs within related inpatient units
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding and training requirements prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled bedside care to telemetry patients in a high-acuity inpatient setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per plan of care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time
• Educate patients and families while promoting positive clinical outcomes
• Support overflow, acute care, or surge assignments when needed based on divisional requirements
