- Weekend Requirement: Yes, per unit needs
- Floating: Required within scope to meet facility needs
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Registered Nurse (RN) experience in progressive care, stepdown, telemetry, or another high-acuity adult nursing setting
- Current Colorado RN license or Compact RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience with Epic charting required
- Comfort working rotating shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Strong experience managing complex adult patients, cardiac monitoring, and multiple IV infusions
- Ability to adapt quickly, collaborate effectively, and respond to changing patient needs
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for adult patients with complex medical and cardiac conditions
- Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry and progressive care-level interventions
- Administer and titrate ordered therapies and IV medications according to unit protocols
- Support care for patients undergoing procedures such as scopes, biopsies, moderate sedation, and cardioversion
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote safe, coordinated patient care
- Assess patient status, recognize changes quickly, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Float as needed within scope to support unit and facility needs
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold professional nursing standards throughout the assignment
