• Position: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
• Employment Type: Travel nursing assignment
• Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia 22408
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 09/14/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Setting: LDRP unit
• Technology & Equipment: Meditech EMR, GE monitoring, Novii Wireless, Spectrum IV pumps, and CADD epidural PCA
• Team Environment: Supportive unit with a strong mix of new and experienced nurses

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• NRP certification required
• BLS certification required
• Intermediate fetal monitoring preferred
• ACLS preferred
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced labor, delivery, and postpartum environment

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care for laboring and postpartum patients
• Support inductions, cesarean deliveries, and spontaneous vaginal deliveries
• Monitor fetal and maternal status throughout the labor and delivery process
• Collaborate with physicians, OB/GYN providers, and the care team to promote safe outcomes
• Care for patients in a unit that includes labor rooms, triage, and operating suites
• Maintain accurate documentation and support smooth workflow using EMR systems
• Contribute to a positive, welcoming unit culture focused on teamwork and patient-centered care
