- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Hours per Week: 40 guaranteed hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
- Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Services
Job Requirements
- Active Maine RN license
- BLS required
- ACLS required within 30 days of hire
- Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
- Operating Room, perioperative, or telemetry experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Flexible, dependable team player with a patient-centered approach
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as an Operating Room RN under the supervision of the Unit Director and clinical leadership
- Support surgical procedures while following state nursing standards, hospital policies, and perioperative best practices
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety and quality care
- Respond effectively to changing patient needs and contribute to a positive surgical team environment
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care throughout the surgical experience
