• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Location: Olathe, KS
• Area: Kansas City suburb
• Patient Volume: Approximately 120 patients per day
• Ratios: 3:1 or 4:1 as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience within the last 12 months
• Active Kansas RN license or compact/multi-state RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Conscious Sedation competency
• TNCC preferred
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a rapidly changing emergency care environment
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Care for patients with a wide range of acuity levels, including chest pain and stroke evaluations
• Support inpatient boarders while maintaining efficient ED workflow
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, timely patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols
• Adapt quickly to changing patient needs and department priorities
• Work scheduled weekend nights and one holiday rotation as required
