Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 2+ years of cardiac critical care experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
• Experience with pediatric, congenital heart, or pediatric ICU patients preferred
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, organization, and a team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide expert pediatric nursing care for congenital cardiac patients in the CICU
• Monitor and manage post-operative cardiac patients, including those with chest tubes, inotropes, and vasopressors
• Support care for post-sternotomy and open-chest patients in a high-acuity critical care setting
• Collaborate closely with intensivists, cardiology providers, and the interdisciplinary pediatric healthcare team to deliver safe, compassionate care
• Work effectively with advanced ICU equipment and contribute to evidence-based practice
• Maintain strong patient safety, documentation, and teamwork standards throughout night shifts
