We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with strong Med-Surg Telemetry skills who enjoys fast-paced patient care and thrives in a team-oriented environment. Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience in the specialty within the last 3 years
• Experience starting IVs required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to pass a telemetry exam prior to start
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Experience caring for adult Med-Surg and telemetry patients preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric Med-Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Start and maintain IV access and support common inpatient nursing interventions
• Administer medications and treatments according to standards of care
• Care for patients with a variety of diagnoses under family medicine services
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain timely charting
• Float as needed and adapt to changing unit needs
• Maintain professionalism while caring for a diverse patient population in a secure inpatient environment
