• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts; 3x12 or 4x12 options
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,820 - $1,910
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:4 on nights, with occasional 1:5
• Floating: Required within the division, overflow areas, and ED holds
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Unit Census: 15
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current Registered Nurse license in hand before start date
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Nursys verification required with submission
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Ability to complete required onboarding labs within 72 hours of accepting the offer
• Must be available to include all requested time off at submission or prior to accepting the offer
• Comfort working holidays as needed, including major winter holidays
• Experience with neuro stepdown, telemetry, and progressive care workflows preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality bedside care to adult and geriatric stepdown patients
• Monitor cardiac and neurological status, including telemetry and dysrhythmia changes
• Administer medications and manage complex care needs in a progressive care setting
• Support patients with stroke, seizure, post-cardiac, respiratory, and other acute conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Float as needed to division overflow and ED hold patients while maintaining excellent care standards
• Respond appropriately to rapid changes in patient condition and activate support teams when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively using Epic or similar charting systems
• Promote a team-oriented, patient-centered environment throughout the shift
