• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,820 - $1,910
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Schedule Notes: 84 hours biweekly with a 72-hour guarantee; may include floating to divisional overflow and ED holds
• Time Off: Submit all requested time off with application

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand prior to start
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
• Nursys verification required with submission
• Epic experience strongly preferred
• Experience caring for telemetry, stepdown, progressive care, or PCU patients preferred
• Ability to work holidays as needed, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day
• Must be comfortable with a patient ratio around 1:4, with occasional 1:5 assignments at night

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside care to adult and geriatric patients in a cardiac stepdown / neuro PCU setting
• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition promptly and professionally
• Administer and manage medications, IV therapy, and ordered treatments according to nursing standards
• Support patients with neuro-related diagnoses and other acute medical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, social services, therapy, interpretation services, and rapid response resources
• Float divisionally as needed, including overflow areas and ED holds
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate effectively using the required charting workflow
• Promote safe, compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the travel assignment
