Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nurse Assignment in Mountain Home, AR

Travel Nurse Job Details

• Position: Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN)
• Setting: Float Pool / Acute Care / Inpatient Nursing
• Location: Mountain Home, AR 72653
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,820 to $1,910
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• End Date: 12/21/2026
• Work Environment: On-site travel nursing role supporting several inpatient and emergency care areas

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience required
• Stepdown experience required
• Current Arkansas or Compact State RN license in good standing
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and Nursys required with submission
• License in hand required with submission
• Cerner experience preferred
• Travel nurse experience highly preferred
• Ability to complete required onboarding labs within 72 hours of accepting the offer
• RTO must be submitted with application

Acute Care RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care for assigned patients across the nursing unit
• Use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support evidence-based care
• Float as needed to support Med Surg, Telemetry, Surg/Ortho, PCU, ER Hold, ER, adult and geriatric psych, and inpatient rehab
• Provide compassionate, safe care for a varied patient population
• Adapt quickly to changing unit needs while maintaining strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication
