- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: May be required as needed to meet unit needs

Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent ER nursing experience required
- Compact RN license must be in hand at submission, if applicable
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
- Experience with Epic charting required
- Strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and emergency management
- Experience with triage, IV insertion, EKGs, phlebotomy, and port access
- Ability to manage critical drips and ventilated patients in an acute care setting
- Comfortable caring for a broad patient population, including pediatrics and adults
- Must be able to work every other weekend and commit to the contracted schedule
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients with trauma, stroke, chest pain, behavioral health concerns, and infectious diseases
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and support patients requiring critical drips
- Perform and interpret EKGs, assist with phlebotomy, and support port access and line care
- Care for patients requiring continuous monitoring, respiratory support, or emergency interventions
- Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary support services
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold high standards of patient safety and quality care
- Adapt quickly to changing patient acuity and unit needs while delivering excellent teamwork
