• Float Requirement: Float to like units as needed
• Orientation: Must be available every day during the first week of orientation

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical, Med/Surg, or Acute Care setting
• Travel RN experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Flexibility to work every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed
• Positive, team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and support float assignments

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult Medical/Surgical patients as a Registered Nurse
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately and in a timely manner
• Administer medications and treatments according to established acute care protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized patient care plans
• Respond to changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized care environment
• Support unit workflow and assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Float to like units when needed based on staffing and patient care needs
