• End Date: 02/22/2027
• Assignment Length: 22 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00pm - 7:00am
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Charting System: EPIC
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
• Orientation: 8 hours of non-billable orientation; mandatory attendance required
• Floating: May float to age-appropriate Peds/PICU

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience
• Current Indiana RN license
• BLS certification from AHA
• NRP certification
• Strong neonatal critical care and patient care skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and maintain a consistent 36-hour weekly schedule
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred
• Willingness to float to appropriate pediatric critical care areas as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care for neonatal patients in a NICU environment
• Monitor patient conditions closely and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
• Administer medications and perform treatments in accordance with nursing standards
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in EPIC
• Work collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a calm, organized, and efficient approach in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Support families with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication
• Follow unit protocols, safety procedures, and assignment expectations throughout the contract
