Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Cardiac stepdown, telemetry, or similar acute care experience preferred
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a monitored patient setting
• Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to meet onboarding and compliance requirements prior to start

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients recovering from cardiac procedures and interventions
• Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and physician orders
• Recognize changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient-centered care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Provide education and support to patients and families throughout recovery
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient cardiac stepdown care environment
