- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570 - $1,650
- Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room
- Location: Chattanooga, TN 37404
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience required
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI certifications required
- Strong sepsis and stroke experience preferred
- Chest pain and stroke certification preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency nursing environment
- Comfortable supporting a 4:1 patient ratio
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency patients with varying levels of acuity
- Assess, triage, monitor, and treat patients according to Emergency Department best practices
- Respond quickly and confidently to urgent and emergent clinical situations
- Support patients experiencing chest pain, stroke symptoms, sepsis, and other critical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and unit staff to support excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Adapt to unit needs and provide flexibility when floating is required
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on patient safety and quality care
