• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours; 48 hours noted in assignment details

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
• At least 2 years of recent IMCU/PCU nursing experience
• Previous travel nurse experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Strong knowledge of cardiac, neuro, respiratory, trauma, and post-op patient care
• Ability to work night shifts, float as needed, and adapt in a dynamic acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult intermediate care and cardiac stepdown patients
• Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses such as MI, COPD, DKA, sepsis, trauma, and post-operative conditions
• Assess patient status, interpret changes quickly, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support positive outcomes
• Care for patients requiring specialized equipment such as temporary pacers, chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, and chronic ventilator support
• Administer medications, complete accurate clinical documentation, and follow established nursing protocols
• Float when needed and contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered team environment
