- Location: Miami, FL 33136
- Start Date: 09/21/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
- Orientation: 09/21 only
- Additional Notes: Every other weekend or alternating weekends and holidays may be required; no local candidates considered
Job Requirements
- Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license on file at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Prior travel nurse experience in a Level I trauma facility required
- Prior Cerner EMR experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI certifications required
- Must be able to pass an EKG exam during orientation
- Strong ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency care environment
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a high-acuity ED setting
- Perform rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring for emergent conditions
- Support care for boarded patients, including admission-related work as assigned
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate efficient, quality patient care
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner
- Maintain composure, clinical judgment, and professionalism in a very fast-paced trauma environment
- Adapt to changing patient volumes and support unit needs throughout the travel assignment
