• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Orientation: 09/21 only
• Additional Notes: Every other weekend or alternating weekends and holidays may be required; no local candidates considered

Job Requirements

• Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license on file at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Prior travel nurse experience in a Level I trauma facility required
• Prior Cerner EMR experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI certifications required
• Must be able to pass an EKG exam during orientation
• Strong ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency care environment
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a high-acuity ED setting
• Perform rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring for emergent conditions
• Support care for boarded patients, including admission-related work as assigned
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate efficient, quality patient care
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner
• Maintain composure, clinical judgment, and professionalism in a very fast-paced trauma environment
• Adapt to changing patient volumes and support unit needs throughout the travel assignment
