• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,110
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Holiday Coverage: Required as scheduled
• Floating: Required within specialty as needed
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Charting System: Epic preferred

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland or Compact RN license at time of submission
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
• CPI certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Strong clinical skills in a high-volume emergency department environment
• Comfort caring for all age groups, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Ability to work independently while remaining a strong team player
• First-time travelers accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan
• Perform triage, assessment, monitoring, and intervention for a wide variety of acute conditions
• Administer medications and emergency treatments in a fast-paced ED setting
• Support care for patients with respiratory, cardiac, neurological, behavioral health, and trauma-related needs
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate documentation and prioritize patient safety throughout every shift
• Respond effectively to changing patient acuity and high census demands
• Deliver compassionate, efficient care while supporting a positive patient experience
