- Duration: 13 weeks

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
- Hours per Week: 40
- Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, with flexible daytime coverage and rotating schedule needs
- Call: Some call required, including evenings and weekends as needed
- EMR: EPIC
- Type: Travel nursing assignment
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Experience in PACU, post-anesthesia care, pre-op, post-op, or perioperative nursing strongly preferred
- Ability to float to a local affiliate campus to meet clinical needs
- Strong communication, organization, and professional demeanor
- Ortho total joint, spine, or sports medicine experience is a plus
- CAPA or CPAN certification preferred
- Must be comfortable working with a small, collaborative team and managing multiple assignments throughout the day
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality recovery care for post-operative patients in the PACU
- Support pre-op, PACU, and post-op workflows as patient needs and schedules change throughout the day
- Monitor patients with typical PACU ratios of 1-2 in recovery and 1 pre-op / 2-3 post-op Phase II
- Care for patients undergoing orthopedic, spine, pain management, and sports medicine procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and the perioperative team to ensure smooth patient flow
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EPIC and follow established unit standards
- Respond to call coverage requirements when assigned
- Deliver compassionate, organized, and efficient nursing care in a fast-paced surgical setting
