Job Details

• Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Cardiac Cath Lab RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Monday through Friday with self-scheduling
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call Requirements: STEMI call approximately 10 to 12 days per month
• Floating: May float within related departments, including EP and Stress Lab
• Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL — a scenic Gulf Coast community known for beaches, coastal living, and outdoor recreation

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or interventional cardiology experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with structural heart procedures preferred
• Experience with IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR preferred
• Strong knowledge of PCI, PFO, TAVR, atherectomy, DCCV, and TEE procedures preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment with strong attention to detail and patient safety

Responsibilities

• Support cardiac catheterization procedures and deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout the procedure continuum
• Assist with advanced cardiovascular interventions, including PCI, TAVR, PFO closure, atherectomy, and right and left heart caths
• Monitor patients during procedures involving Impella and IABP support
• Collaborate with physicians and the procedural team to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient outcomes
• Prepare patients for procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold best practices in a highly technical environment
• Participate in STEMI call coverage and respond to urgent cardiovascular cases as needed
• Contribute to a team culture focused on professionalism, teamwork, and excellent patient care
